The LA Cafe opened in 1999 and is the spearhead of the Ermita Revival. It quickly became a favorite meeting places for both locals and expats alike. It became so popular that it expanded to the second level where the Diamond Head was to cope with the growing number of patrons.
They have great live bands that play regularly and the place really jumps to a great blend of classic rock and new dance (not Rap or techno). The real attraction is the wall to wall girls that hang around there hoping to pick up. These are all freelancers and you negotiate a price with them.
