Taxi’s outside the LA Cafe
Parked taxi outside of LA Cafe. They will not turn on meter and will overcharge you by at least double

Simply avoid them. Walk a short distance away and wait just a minute or so for one of the many taxi’s driving down MH Del Pilar.

Old Lady with Baby Begging
The old lady who hangs outside of LA Cafe, who comes up and starts begging, "One Peso for my baby"

I have always objected to strongly the women holding the very small infants. If anyone has any compassion for these children at all they will NEVER give money to these women. Most of the babies are rent-a- babies and should be home with their mother. Giving money only encourages this activity. I mostly ignore these women altogether but on occasion I have said "TAKE THE BABY HOME TO ITS MOTHER" -
Futile I know.

"The worst bar i found was the OHJI Prince, just around the corner from the La Corona. They are a total rip-off."
"I did the OHJI and totally agree. Only went there because my Bar Fine (OK I cheated - BYO from AC) recognised a door girl from her province and wanted to go in. We both had a standard beer. The drink waitress had a LD. My girl sang two songs. With cover charge the total bill was around 800
Pesos."
